Buses for school, church and community outings
We drive school excursions, church events and community outings across Cape Town and the Western Cape, in anything up to a 52 seat coach. Tell us the times that can't move and we'll plan the vehicles and the day around them.
A school or church outing usually rests on one person, often a teacher or a youth leader.
Parents will ask them two things: who is driving, and what time the bus gets back. We plan the trip so you can answer both. The return time is built into the plan, and the driver's name and phone number reach you before the day.
We run 17 licensed vehicles, and every one is roadworthy and serviced on schedule. Our drivers are used to groups and know Cape Town and the roads out of it well. Schools and churches book our Toyota Coaster a lot. It has 22 seats, a centre aisle and space overhead for bags, and we have four of them.
Most of our school and church work is planned from scratch rather than picked off a tour list. You give us the stops, the head count and the times that matter, and we match the vehicles to the group. There's no minimum booking. A youth group of twelve in one Quantum gets the same planning as a school outing that needs four buses.
You hold the list of names and the time everyone has to be home. We handle the bus, the driver and the road in between.
Who it's for
Churches and faith groups
Transport to church events and community gatherings, youth outings, and trips out of town with the congregation. When the whole church is going, several of our buses can travel together.
Community, social and leisure groups
Clubs, societies and social groups on an organised outing. That might be a day around the Peninsula, a drive along the Whale Coast to Hermanus, or a route you plan yourself.
Longer trips and several days away
Garden Route trips over several days, and long distance travel to other parts of South Africa. All our buses and coaches can handle long trips.

Every booking: we quote, a deposit holds the date, and you get your driver's name and number before the trip.

We work out when to leave, how long to allow at each stop and when to start back, then pick the bus, or the mix of buses, that fits your numbers and the route.

The driver collects the group at the agreed place and time, sticks to the plan and brings everyone back to the drop off point you gave us, on the return time you promised the parents.

An experienced local driver who knows Cape Town and the routes out of town.
A toilet on board for long trips
On a long run with children, ask for one of the three Higer 32 seaters or the 38 seat Yutong. Each has a toilet on board, and the Higers carry a fridge as well.
Room for bags
The Staria and Quantum vans have luggage space, and the Irizar coach has a hold underneath. If a big group is carrying a lot, ask about a luggage trailer.

Good to know
A few things that make the booking go smoothly.
- Count everyone who needs a seat, including teachers, parents and helpers, and tell us if the number changes after you book.
- Tell us about wheelchairs, walking aids or anyone who finds steps hard when you ask for a quote, so we can take it into account when we choose the vehicle.
- The Staria and Quantum have sliding doors and a low step up, which makes them easier for young children and older passengers to get in and out of.
- If the group meets in more than one place, send every pickup address and roughly how many people get on at each.

Can you send more than one bus for a big group?
Yes. We run four 22 seat Coasters and three 32 seat Higers, so a large group can travel in matching buses on the same day if they're free. Give us the total head count and we'll suggest the mix.
Which vehicle suits our group size?
As a guide, up to 9 people fit in a Staria, 14 in a Quantum and 22 in a Sprinter or Coaster. Above that come the 26 seat Yutong, the 32 seat Higer, the 38 seat Yutong and the 52 seat Irizar. We confirm the fit when we quote, once we know about luggage and the route.
Does the bus stay with us for the day?
It can. We can quote for a vehicle and driver that stay with the group all day, the way our tours work. If you only need dropping off and fetching later, give us both times and we'll quote for that instead.
Do you do trips out of Cape Town or over several days?
Yes. We plan Garden Route trips over several days and long trips to other parts of South Africa. The Higer is the bus we use most for long runs, because it has a toilet and a fridge on board.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can, especially for big groups and for trips between December and February. We do take last minute bookings when a vehicle and driver are free. If you need us today or tomorrow, phone rather than email.
Can we add a guide for an educational trip?
Yes. Our drivers know the routes and the stops, but if you want someone to talk the group through what they're seeing, at the Castle, in Bo-Kaap or at Cape Point for example, ask for a registered tour guide with your quote and we'll arrange one.
