Quotes

A quote is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise, and it's based on the details you give us. If the number of passengers, the route, the duration or your needs change, the quote may change too.

Bookings and deposits

Your booking is confirmed once you accept the quote in writing and we receive the deposit. Until then we can't hold the date or the vehicle. Before the trip we send you a confirmation with your driver's name and number.

Cancellation

Cancellation terms depend on the size and type of booking, and your written quote sets them out. If your booking includes tickets or reserve entry from another company, that company's cancellation terms apply as well as ours.

Vehicles

We assign the vehicle that best suits your group, route and luggage. If we have to, we may swap it for another vehicle of the same size or bigger, at no extra cost to you.

Passenger conduct and safety

All passengers must wear a seatbelt where one is fitted. Our drivers can refuse to carry a passenger whose behaviour puts other passengers, the driver or the vehicle at risk. We charge for any damage a passenger causes to a vehicle.

Delays and circumstances beyond our control

We leave extra time and track flights on airport bookings, but we can't accept liability for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, protests, mechanical failure or anything else outside our reasonable control.

Luggage

How much luggage fits depends on the vehicle. When you ask for a quote, tell us if you have more than one bag each, sports equipment or anything oversized, so we can choose a bigger vehicle or bring a trailer.

Liability

Capricorn Tours (Pty) Ltd has the insurance South African law requires of a licensed passenger transport operator. We recommend you take out your own travel insurance to cover your belongings and any disruption to your trip.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
