Coast
Clarence Drive runs along the mountainside high above False Bay. At the end of it is Hermanus, where southern right whales come close enough to watch from the cliff path.

You follow the coast through Rooi Els and Betty's Bay. Before Hermanus you stop at Stony Point, home to one of the biggest African penguin colonies on the continent, where a boardwalk takes you out over the rocks.
Hermanus is the main event. From about June to November the whales come into Walker Bay to calve, and you can watch them from the cliffs. There's a whale crier, a craft market and plenty of places to eat.
We run this tour two ways. Signature covers the vehicle, the guide and lunch. Elite adds a whale watching boat trip, which takes you out onto the water with them in season.
